Nadya Janitra (1987) wasborn in Jakarta, Indonesia. She was born in a musical family and startedplaying the piano at the age of 4. Her mother, a well-known piano teacher, gaveNadya her first lessons. One year later, she was accepted at the mostprestigious music school in Jakarta (YPM). She finished the Pre-Conservatoryprogram with the highest mark with distinction and YPM Artist Award. Then shewas able to enter the Teacher’s Training Program from which she graduated in2005 under the guidance of Mrs. Aisha Ariadna Pletscher. After she graduated,she had three years of experience as a teacher in the Basic Education Divisionat the same school. In 2007, she was accepted at The Royal Conservatoire in TheHague, The Netherlands, and got her Bachelor of Music degree and TeachingDiploma in 2011. She succeeds to be selected as one of the few Master studentson the same conservatoire, where she now studies with Ellen Corver (member ofthe famous Osiris Trio).
